Ramadan jest czasem proby, czasem wytezonego szkolenia naszej duszy i serca. W ciagu 30 dni odmawiamy naszemu cialu wiele razy tak, aby przygotowac sie na walke z pokusami, ktora trwa caly rok. Dzieki temu nasza dusza i serce staja sie silniejsze od tego, czego zada od nas cialo.

Ramadan is a testing time, a time of great training of our soul and heart. In those 30 days we deny our body many times so as to prepare ourselves for the war with temptations that lasts the whole year. Thanks to this our soul and heart are stronger than what our body demands from us.

Dziś jest dziesiąty dzień miesiąca Muharram, znany jako Aszura. W tym dniu Lud Izraela został wybawiony przez Boga z opersji Faraona. Jest to dzień przejścia przez Morze Czerwone. Według tradycji, Mojżesz i - postępując za nim - Żydzi pościli tego dnia w celu upamiętnienia tego cudu.
Wielu muzułmanów także pości tego dnia zgodnie z tradycją Proroka Muhammada.

Módlmy się za dziasiaj o zażegnanie konfliktu Izraelsko-Palestyńskiego, aby wszystkie trzy monoteistyczne religie mogły żyć w pokoju.

W świecie pozbawionym wartości duchowych tak ważne jest, aby ludzie wierzący w Boga mogli się nawzajem wspomagać niezależnie od tego, jak Go nazywają - Jahwe=Allah=Bóg.

Today is the tenth day of the month of Muharram, knows as Ashura. On this day the People of Israel were saved by God from the Pharaoh's oppression. It is the day of the crossing of the Red Sea. According to the tradition Moses and after him Jews used to fast on this day to commemorate this miracle.
A lot of Muslims also fast on this day following the tradition of Prophet Muhammad.

Let's pray today for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to cease, so that all three monotheistic religions could live in peace.

In the world devoid of spiritual values it is so important for people believing in God to be able to support each other regardless of what they call Him - Yahweh=Allah=God.

Fakt nr 29 - Celem Ramadanu jest przybliżenie się do swojego Stwórcy i okazanie mu wdzięczności. 

Fact #29 - The aim of Ramadan is to get closer to your Creator and to show Him your gratitude.

"To jest miesiąc ramadan, w którym został zesłany Koran - droga prosta dla ludzi i jasne dowody drogi prostej, i rozróżnienie. Kogo z was zastanie ten miesiąc, to niech pości w tym czasie. A ten, kto jest chory lub w podróży, to przez pewną liczbę innych dni. Bóg chce dać wam ulgę, a nie chce dla was utrudnienia; chce, żebyście dopełnili tę liczbę i żebyście głosili wielkość Boga za to, że On poprowadził was drogą prostą. Być może, będziecie wdzięczni! A kiedy zapytają ciebie Moi słudzy o Mnie, to zaprawdę, Ja jestem bliski! Odpowiadam na wezwanie każdego wzywającego, kiedy Mnie wzywa; niech więc oni odpowiedzą na Moje wezwanie i niech we Mnie uwierzą! Być może, oni pójdą drogą prawości!" (Koran 2:185-186)

'The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.' (Quran 2:185-186)

Zakat al fitr jest obowiązkową darowizną w czasie Ramadanu. Jest to stała dla wszystkich kwota lub odpowiednio ilość jedzenie, które należy przekazać na rzecz najbiedniejszych przed świętem Id al Fitr. Darowizna ta obowiązuje wszystkich muzułmanów, których na to stać.

Zakat al fitr is an obligatory charity during Ramadan. It's a fixed amount of money or respectively food that you are to give to the poorest before Eid al fitr. This charity is obligatory for all Muslims that can afford it.

Fakt nr 27 - Muzułmanie najczęściej płacą obowiązkowy zakat w czasie Ramadanu. 

Fact #27 - Muslim most often pay the obligatory zakat in Ramadan.

Zakat to obowiązkowy podatek głównie na biednych płacony przez wszystkich muzułmanów, których na to stać. Zakat stanowi 2.5% majątku, ale tylko takiego, którego muzułmanin był właścicielem przez cały rok.

Zakat is an obligatory tax mostly for poor people paid by all the Muslims who can afford it. Zakat constitutes of 2.5% of assets but only those owned by a Muslim throughout the whole year.

Fakt nr 26 - Najwięcej dowodów świadczy o tym, że Noc Przeznaczenia jest już dzisiaj. 

Fact #26 - Most of the proofs claim tonight is the Night of Power.

Podczas Nocy Przeznaczenia muzułmanie modlą się surą Al Qadr (nr 97) i odmiawiają specjalną modlitwę:
"O Boże, Ty wybaczasz i kochasz wybaczać, więc wybacz mi."

During the Night of Power Muslims pray with surah Al Qadr (# 97) and say a special prayer:
"O God, You are The One who pardons and loves to Pardon, so pardon me."

Fakt nr 25 - Ramdan kończy się wielkim świętem zwanym Id al Fitr. 

Fact #25 - Ramadan ends with a great holiday called Eid al Fitr.

Pierwszego dnia nowego miesiąca po Ramadanie obchodzone jest przez muzułmanów jedno z 2 świąt - Id al Fitr.

Fakt nr 24 - Noc Przeznaczenia jest lepsza od tysiąca miesięcy. 

Fact #24 - The Night of Power is better than a thousand of months.

"Zaprawdę, zesłaliśmy go w Noc Przeznaczenia! A co cię pouczy, co to jest Noc Przeznaczenia? Noc Przeznaczenia - lepsza niż tysiąc miesięcy! Aniołowie i Duch zstępują tej Nocy, za pozwoleniem swego Pana, dla wypełnienia wszelkich rozkazów. Ona to pokój aż do pojawienia się zorzy porannej." (Koran 97)

"Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn." (Quran 97)

Fact #23 - On the Night of Power angels descent to the Earth.

W Noc Przeznaczenia anioły są zsyłane na ziemię z Boskim dekretem na cały następny rok. Oznacza to, że właśnie tej nocy zostaje zapisane wszystko to, co wydarzy się przez następny rok. Dlatego też noc ta jest ważna nie tylko dla muzułmanów, ale dla wszystkich ludzi.

On the Night of Power angels descend to the Earth with God's decrees for the whole next year. It means that on that particular night everything that will take place in the next year is written. That is why this night is not only important to the Muslims but to all human beings.

(Quran 2:164)

Według tradycji proroka (pokój z nim) Laylatul-Qadr wypada w jedną z nieparzystych nocy w ciągu ostatnich 10 dni Ramadanu.
